Ethiopia
An Ethiopian birding tour was my 40th birthday present from my wife Jeanette - what a beautiful country, what a fantastic wife! The birdlife here on the roof of Africa is spectacular and the people are just so incredibly friendly.

. This enigmatic endemic was photographed in southern Ethiopia near the road from Yabello to the aptly-named town of Mega! Although difficult to find at first I was soon surrrounded by a family group of 30+ birds and was able to watch them grooming and apir bonding. Bird of the trip for me.'))
